Bill grew up in the South Side and is now a resident at Bethany House in Brookline, along with his roommates Frank and Camille. Bill is one of five Lopata brothers and makes a fantastic uncle! He is proud of his Polish heritage and has taught many of us how to polka in his years with Emmaus. Bill grew up serving Mass at St. Peter’s in the South Side and continues to do so at Our Lady of Loreto in Brookline. He loves to grace us with his dramatic side at the annual talent show—and he does quite an impression of the The King! Bill is without a doubt Pittsburgh’s #1 sports fan! On game days, there’s no mistaking Bill’s loyalty. You’ll find him perched in front of the TV, cheering on his team, and he never forgets to put out his giant inflatable Steeler in the front yard. Emmaus wouldn’t be the same without Bill’s lively spirit! Thank you, Bill, for sharing all your gifts with us!
